It’s an old school start for us, pencil on trace, exploring ideas freely and often before a computer ever enters the conversation.

This early phase is about testing, pushing and discovering what the project could be, rather than rushing toward what it should be.

From there, we distil our thinking into three distinct design directions. The first reflects how the client has imagined living on the site at its very best. The second is a careful response to the brief, balancing priorities, constraints and opportunities. The third is our own interpretation, what we believe to be the most compelling and thoughtful architectural response to the site itself.

This approach allows us to explore the full spectrum of possibility, ensuring the final direction is not just resolved, but truly considered.

We begin every project with open ears and an active imagination.
