BUILDER: GAYTEWAY CUSTOM HOMES

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Tucked into the rolling terrain of Gozzer Ranch above the shores of Coeur d’Alene, this custom residence is conceived as a quiet compound rather than a singular home. A series of warm, grounded buildings are thoughtfully arranged across the site, creating a collection of spaces that can expand and contract with the rhythm of life.

At its heart, the main house anchors the experience with generous living spaces that open toward long views of the lake and surrounding pines. Natural materials—weathered timber, hand laid stone, and soft metal accents—establish a palette that feels both timeless and deeply rooted in place. The architecture leans into a sense of shelter and warmth, with layered roofs, deep overhangs, and moments of compression that give way to expansive, light filled rooms.
